Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

In CBT we examine how our thoughts drive behaviours, using this knowledge to use structured goals to change our lives for the better.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

Understanding that we are able to make the best decisions when we listen to our 'wise mind', understanding how to be mindful and learning frameworks for things like interpersonal skills.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Diffusing from fixated thoughts and emotions, grounding in the here and now, identifying what's really important to us, focusing on that to drive us forward.

EMDR Trauma Processing

EMDR Trained by EMDR Association of Australia Accredited Training. Developing a safe place and containment strategies, with promotion of positive memories for adaptive processing. Use of bilateral stimulation to facilitate processing of traumatic memories.

EMDR. Developing a safe space, exploring strategies for connecting and grounding, then using bilateral stimulation to facilitate the processing of an integrated narrative allowing a reduction of impact of memories and flashbacks.

The family is the seedbed from where our attachments, beliefs, values, interests and entire personality is formed. Working on these relationships can be the most difficult... and most rewarding of processes.

Before we can even think about therapy, connecting with the young person and creating a safe and fun therapeutic space, is often one of the biggest obstacles. Come and see if my jokes are as bad as my own children say they are...

Referral and Pricing

Sessions can be charged privately, under Medicare generally or under a Mental Health Care Plan as well as possibility for NDIS funding.
